Do you ever purchase holiday stamp sets and only use it for that season? Well, I do all the time. I LOVE Christmas stamps, but most the time they are limited to, well, Christmas.

So I challenged myself to use the Ink Road: Fir Real stamp set to create a spring card. I decided to use a rainbow color palette inspired by Shimelle: Box of Crayons collection.

Using my Misti Stamping tool, I laid out my stamps on the white card stock for placement. I also used painters tape to mark the line I wanted to stamps to set on.

Using Tim Holtz Distress Inks, I inked portions of the stamp at a time, overlapping colors slightly.

After that was complete. I stamped Ink Road Stamps: Compliments Vol. 1 in VersaMark ink and set it with Lawn Fawn: Rose Gold embossing powder.

I then wrapped yellow twine around the card and backed it with rose gold card stock. I popped this piece up with dimensional adhesive and adhered it to an A2 size piece of Shimelle’s Box of Crayon paper from the 6×6 paper pad.

And there you have it. The finished card! I love being able to use my holiday stamps in the sprint and giving them new life. How do you use your holiday stamps?
